Has anyone tried Salomon Escape Outback boots? I have Alpina Alaskas now, but looking for something with more width in the forefoot/toe box. Thanks for any input.

I do not know the Salomon boot, but Alfa Guard and Fischer Transnordic should have more toebox volume.

I tried the outback in the shop, personally i found them narrower than the Alaska BCs, but especially the fit was not for my foot and it seems to be a boot that grups the foot firmly. My friend with a supposedly wide foot found them really comfortable.
Compared to the Alaska BC, i found the sole a little bit stiffer, but the upper way softer...
