Rossignol BCX6 sole split repair?

Post by cwdz » Mon Dec 21, 2020 1:41 pm

I read in places that the soles of BCX6's can split, and that is what happened to me.

See picture. (the whiteness is from two attempted crazy glue repairs

)

Anyone have an idea on fixing them?

I tried super glue (cyanoacrilate) twice (thinking that the soles are basically rubber) but it didn't begin to work.

If it is structural they are probably toast. If it a crack in the rubber, and the leather is intact and structural, and you are really only waterproofing try Shoe Goo or https://sugru.com/about.
Good luck
