I have no idea. Its a state park and dnr drove by while i was in the lot. I presume lifts arent running do what you want.
He dont need booties, mushers secret works when really cold but only necessary single digits and below. Also, he's 11. Not worth trying to teach him new tricks aside from minor variations what he knows.

Turns look good! The snow looks even better. It’s not skiable here, I’ll be driving a couple hours this weekend.

plenty of snow in West Yellowstone. not like Tahoe amounts, but over 6ft of nice light snow.

I feel like I've made progress in figuring out turns. Conditions were perfect for it this weekend.

I pass these lower angle meadows all the time when I am on my way skiing. I never see tracks on them. if this terrain was on rt 191 in West Yellowstone, every pull-off would be full of Subarus.

^^^ There are lots of patches of good terrain out there that aren't worthwhile to skin up, but are a blast with scales or kick wax. That looks like a prime example.
