Oh man I’m jealous. That looks amazing. My season ended 2 months ago but I finally put together a season edit. I watch it using these warm humid months.

Nice late season pix. My son is up in the Beartooth range in Montana. Hopefully he'll get some photos to share!

I really like this video. Skiing in all these different conditions in a single video is an honest and fun look a the the sport. Good stuff. Thank you for sharing.montrealer wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 10:05 pmOh man I’m jealous. That looks amazing. My season ended 2 months ago but I finally put together a season edit. Here's a picture of the eclipse yesterday.
Phone camera couldn't pick it up, so I guess it's just a sunrise pic. lol

Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!
Found a wolf skeleton, I think it drowned in the river while it was high. I'm guessing that cuz I sometimes find dead deer on riverbanks (and sometime in the river) and I can only conclude that they're drowning when the river is really gnarly.
I gotta go back and look for the missing tooth. (it's missing one of the smallest lower incisors)
This section of river is fun to kayak when the water is up. It's about ten miles. I want to do the section below this, to see what it's like, but it'll probably require an overnight on the riverbank somewhere.

Nice find Bazillions. I find a lot of dead stuff and collect the skulls.
The wolf may have drowned in high water or it may have died crossing the river when it was snow and ice covered. I found a dead bull moose in a river early one spring. It must have died no later than March because it still had its antlers. He must have broke through or got bogged down and died, there was no evidence of any kind of trauma and nothing had eaten on it.

Thanks. I'm used to coming across deer skulls, so when saw this I thought for half a second "dang that deer has some huge fangs"
That'd be something to find a whole dead moose. I would like to find a shed, but there aren't many moose here, so it's not very likely.

I didn’t get his skull but I got the antlers. Within an hour after we found it we came face to face with a grizzly bear.
