Mounted these Voile Hardwire and Madshus Epoch
Re: Mounted these Voile Hardwire and Madshus Epoch
Another thing to consider with the heel pieces is that when you tighten the screws down [too much] it can push the sides of the slot outwards, and likely shorten the space for that long plug to fit. The long hole for the two heel screws is nice for being able to move fore/aft, but it does warp if you tighten them down too much.

Does anyone ever use the large heel risers on their voiles? They feel crazy silly weird to me, even skinning steep WROD.
I ended up removing mine and swapping the small wires to the inside position. Also Makes it way easier to snap the heel throw around the heel.
I love voiles tho man..the 3pin is crazy versatile. Been doing slot of my skiing on just the toes this early season (woo soft snow!) switchbacks are dang light and deadass reliable. Just good products

Yep. When the going gets STEEP. About right at the limit of how steep skins will grip.dorthman wrote:Does anyone ever use the large heel risers on their voiles? They feel crazy silly weird to me, even skinning steep WROD.
