No, we don't use the kick wax at all in winter but climbing skins instead if slopes get too steep.
However, we try to manage with fish-scale only because we like a casual and lazy style.

I could tell that wasn't CIMA by the skiing technique.
Hopefully I can post some pictures again soon, my old camera is crummy and is toast, but my wife is looking into buying a new one soon!
