About halfway there for Maple syrup. 29 gallons and very tasty darker than usual. Snow has been sliding off the roof for a bit so snow is piling up. Hope to get a quick shot up on Tele Knob and then back to boiling. TM

Ski was different and tough yesterday. A breakable crust which didn't hold you up and dropped the skis under and into almost knee-high powder. So mostly straight shots and turn out tele. Took about three times longer to get to the top of a small knob and the same on the down. Good workout. Should have used my 215 high tipped oldie 99's. Might go for another round today. TM

All thingers considered, it's really good out there. About three inches of powder on hardpack. Gotta be aware of tree wells, but skiing goes on and the quicker turning skis the better it is. Did a quick ski up on teleknob and it was good. Just meandering around and doing a turn here and there. Probably one more boil and Sugaring is over with @ 70 gallons of really good syrup. Great taste! Hit the bush while you can. TM

Up on the hills misty clouds of fog, low visibility and quiet. Then we came and soon smoke then fire set to a 12-foot hollow tree which didn't disappoint. Raging and soon we were also. Soon everybody hitting different aspects of cloudy skiing. Couldn't see anybody but saw tracks as Teleking, Telekid Telewood and TeleJ appeared and disappeared in the mist. Saw some decent tracks and well, duplicated them in another undisturbed area. Back to the fired tree and our grinders from Greensboro Bend store and were they ever good! Plenty of snow up there and I plan on hitting it again soon. TM
