The end of civilization

This is the place to debate politics, global warming, and yes, even the origin of man, whatever. Simply put, if you want to argue about off topic stuff, you've found the right board. Have fun!

The end of civilization

“Domestically , SNAP will be gutted by republicans, and the bottom half of the income distribution in the US will face severe hunger; a famine from the wealthy by politicians and provocateurs intent on separating the wealthy from the unworthy.”

“The legacy of January 6 will not be decided by the courts, or by feckless and rigged committees. It will be decided by what voters and citizens do, as we fight to hold our nation together in these hungry and perilous times.”

Just come to Canada. We have open immigration policy and make sure nobody is left behind. We have only doubled our federal debt at 2.1 trillion in the last 8 years, and our Healthcare system is in shambles. Things are great!

JK. I laugh at Americans that point to partisan talking points. The state is the problem, right or left

Hungry citizens don't give a shit about politics. That's a realm for people well off with nothing better to do than control others.

Yeah, it’s worrying to think about how cuts to programs like SNAP could make life even harder for people who are already struggling. I’ve seen firsthand how important these kinds of assistance programs are, especially for families that live paycheck to paycheck. If these cuts go through, it could seriously hurt those who need it most, and it feels like the gap between the wealthy and everyone else just keeps growing. It's a reminder for all of us to pay attention and speak up before things get worse.

An outlaw ski traverse border jump from Glacier NP to Waterton would be epic
