April Fools jokes aside, I think some of the moderators of these forums routinely pack tape, Velcro and Voile straps when heading backcountry.

Demo'd Head Kore 93 Freeride NTN and loved it. At 6-2 220 I ultimately picked up Kore 99s 189 and have enjoyed them for alpine and telemark turns.

However skiing only 10 days a year it's taken me awhile to realize getting this ski up at high edge angle telemarking really makes it come alive as a Tele ski. Demands good angulation, hip placement, and countering, but man, really enjoyed laying down Tele turns in all conditions this last trip.

Also have Nordica soulrider 87s freerides for the east and they Tele well with less crisp technique. Love both set ups. SR 87s are flexier/better in bumps. Can go supersonic on both set ups.

Adding this late so folks can see what gear people are finding happiness with.

Just add
