FS: Voile Switchback Bindings
Selling a pair of Voile Switchback Bindings with long rods. Asking $125+shipping from VA.
Re: FS: Voile Switchback Bindings
Do you know roughly how old the set is? Post-2003 will allow the rods to be swapped for standard length rods, I think.
If I can do that, I’ll buy them.

There are long and short rods, not standard. I just changed out the spring cartridges from my 2012 3-pin Hardwire (blue), with brand new X2 springs (black).

Re: FS: Voile Switchback Bindings
what boot is recommended for these bindings
Re: FS: Voile Switchback Bindings
I'm no expert, just a dude that skis a lot and lives near areas conducive to skiing a lot. That binding goes great with t4, t2, and t1 class boots. It's been said on this page that you can throw an extreme class leather in there and it'll work. I put an alico arctic in it on the rug at home and it did feel like a bit of a mismatch. Maybe I'll try that combo on snow this week and report back

NOt sure about that Fish; the Voile site currently shows short, standard, and long rods available for the SB's. My 27 Excursions are at the smallest end of the fit range for the standards (27-31). And I think it's not good being all the way at one end or the other for fit.
