Spent time looking into possible hand clipping for next year....Set up some runs for an old geezer...Me!...Powder year continues and the snow allowed for surface speed yesterday....Quite fast and with sun today expect changes...Everybody was speculating on how the year will end...Sugaring is just around the corner....Telesven shoveled the sugarhouse roof...Thought it might collapse but still standing....Will have to tap fairly soon...Sugar corn in the AM....Boiling in the PM...TM

Powder year continues....the Boys got some excellent skiing off the east side and at the bottom the face rounded to the South which brought the sun into the equation....South and West usually are the first to conform to the sun....North and east later....back riveted me to a short blast then "Camp Cook" along with Teleroll...Highlands are still sweet with deep light powder and you can really float on it....Going uphill the "wings" on the pin binding have been working well to anchor the ski as you slide the other up....Change on Wed. sounds like....Get it while you can...TM

Cruised the 205's today....The 99's went up like no work!!!!! They had just enough float to make for a ride the rail down shot....breaking into the gonz was easy! Will continue trail breaking tomorrow...I think...TM

Picture this....Looking down a thousand feet of incredible powder which has speeded up....If you go forward it will suck you in and plant you deeeeppppp.....Sooo sitting back is a must but in the moderate sections seduction occurs....Slowly you get off the back ski and ride both and speed quickens....Then....mind zoned...you drop into the steeps....ohhhh...Not on the back ski...heh...Use your imagination.... Consolidation will happen and it should be good.....Telesven is tapping....and the sugarhouse didn't cave in...Joy......Telerock met some good people down at the nATO fest...Skipping skiing for a bit...Get the back, back...TM

Rounded and deep with a serious crust here....Will find out up in the Highlands on Sunday....Here is the speculation....2-4 inches on a tough crust SHOULD mean we won't break through the crust but will be able to ride down into rounded dips and come up and out with decent speed for easy turning....If that doesn't happen the back will be back as an issue....TM

Speculation is the name of the game....and we had four inches on razor crust into very deep powder...=.....wicked good skiing especially on moderate terrain because you could still go in big if you carved into the fall-line....Boys had a blast up in the Highlands....Put on quite the show....couple of Chick a Dees witnessed it...The King did his thing...Skied down a downed tree that sticks up about 8 feet with about four feet on top....Mistake and your toast...But he stuck it with Jelly...TM

Low AA...As far as double camber....we tend to have to cruise some to get the goods....Double camber works well as it does on the up...With the flexible skis there is no problem getting the skis on the surface....Going across water courses they work well and on the down with wax they break away from any kind of wax for speedy skis....For the bots still jumping the double camber is a great shock absorber....and for oldies like me when I stomp down on the up side of a dip they go in and slow this boy down....and the rebound energizes the foot switch making the process lighter...easier... The Boundless the boys have been using in powder have no camber and you should hear the quacking about the wax coming off....In good conditions or not they will come around....Finally they are just plain fun...TM
