I believe it’s meant as light hearted fun.
A sign of love, attitude, humor and all that is good.
Or else women should pick up their children. Lock the doors and fear skiers wearing leather.
Further, I’ve heard youth Nordic skiers train on it, some.

A family that telemarks together… super cool!
I was skiing some 118s UF yesterday and they were great sidecountry and a lot to push around on piste.
Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!
I love the alpine views but don't love the wind blasted crust.
The ridgeline was blasted almost bare with exposed rocks and grass. The valley below had ridiculously deep snow drifts that were difficult to move through.

Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!
Did some skiing in Rocky Mountain National Park with my friend and his new 6” electric chainsaw. Often any trail we go on has some downed trees. Yes we are pirate trail maintainers. We started off on a 5.5 mi loop, first up the Kawuneeche Valley, then up a spur of the Baker trail to a trail that links Baker to the CDT. We ran across what we think is an Otter track in the snow. We kept a sharp eye out as we kept hearing avalanche WUMPs and rumblings from high up the Never Summer Range, even echoing off the mountains across the valley. As soon as we climbed up to the “bench” that the trail runs on we found our first victim laying across the trail. Took about 10 minutes to cut and move the log out of the way. After about a mile we found our second victim on the trail, we made short work of it to. Farther along I was breaking branches off a down tree that was laying level with the snow, then WUMP from somewhere close. We looked up at the uphill low angle slope then each other and got out of there. There were a couple more trees we had to go off trail to get around as they were too big to cut.
