Asolo Glissade
Anyone know anything about the Asolo Glissade boot? I found what appears to be an NOS size 7.5 Glissade not too far away. Is it a good piece of kit? How does it tend to fit? I measure at a 7.5 but generally prefer an 8 for the extra width. Might be good with my FT62?

Nice light boots, but with a tendency for the sole to delaminate from the uppers. I was working in a shop back when they came out and we had a rash of failures. I used to have a pair; they came apart I would only go for them if truly dirt cheap.

$40 is pretty cheap these days but they’re a 45 minute drive down in Salt Lake. I’d have to have two or three reasons and some Christmas shopping to go down there mid week.

In my search for a lightweight 3 pin boot I've learned some lessons the hard way with vintage boots. @JohnSKepler If those boots were prone to delamination in their time, surely the glue has dried out since then. We will see how an attempt at repair goes, but my policy on vintage boots at this time is only go for the Norwegian stitched boots.
