I would like to try Lundhag boots when I will be in Norway next March/April, but I can’t find a dealer who currently stocks them. None of the big Norwegian sports chains show them on their websites (although XXL, Intersport and Sport1 carry other Lundhags products). The two specialist shops I know in Oslo don’t have them either. Even more surprising is that Swix, which belongs to the same parent-company as Lundhags (Ferd Group), don’t seem to have them in their flagship shop in Lørenskog.
When not on tour in the mountains I will be in Oslo, or possibly in Bergen. Any suggestions? It would have to be a walk-in place where I can actually try the boots on and not a purely online dealer. Fjellsport have the Abisko Xplore and other Lundhag boots, but they’re down in Sandefjord and I think they deal online only – no walk-in.

@Jurassien shops dont yet seem to have new boot stock available. No sign of new Crispi boots either. Just the Alfas and Alpina Alaska xplore, sometimes a madshus.
I think they will come later. Whenever that is.
I kan keep you in the loop when i see somethingbut i don't go to the shops weekly.

Axel Bruun in Trondheim has the Crispi boots in (as well as Alpina Alaska and Alfa Vista). I have not been able to try them on and don't know if they have all sizes.
Platou Sport in Bergen also seem to have Futura XP (as well as Alpina Pioneer Pro and Alfa).

All I've got is fjellsport.no I'm afraid. Lundhags distribution is so weirdly bad.
Aprops Guides, though:
Stew on stove, Sunday is the best.

Piteraq.no in Oslo has a good selection of Alfa boots in Xplore bindings in stock. I didn't see any Lundhags there, but I'll visit them in the coming days so if I see any and let you know.
They even ordered a limited production run of Alfa Polar A/P/S boots in Xplore binding, as far is I know as the only ones in the world (other than those being tested by Norwegian arctic patrol).

That’s a useful tip….thank you! I’ve been to Oslo many times but I’d never heard of them before. A quick look at the map revealed why – they’re in the posh part of town right behind the Royal Palace, where plebeians like myself rarely venture.
…..and here’s a tip for you, if you’re not already aware of it – Fjellski Utleie (Rental) in Oslo: https://www.hygglo.no/category/9286-fjellski/oslo

Thanks for the tip! Only been to Piteraq once but very knowledgeable and clearly focused on more expedition style travel.Jurassien wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 2:08 pmThat’s a useful tip….thank you! I only found them after Alfa informed me they were the only ones selling Alfa Polar in Xplore.

The prices at Axel Bruun are the Norwegian MSRP, and you usually get 10% as member of DNT and other organizations, and more on sale days or as part of a ski/boot deal. Platou seems have included a decent rebate already. Alpina's and Crispi's prices on Xplore boots are pretty high, but Alfa also increased their prices by 500 NOK this year across all models it seems; the weak Norwegian krone and high inflation are to blame. The weak NOK is an advantage for you though
