Top sheet designs

Post by xcdnewb0313 » Tue Sep 26, 2023 7:29 pm

There are some gorgeous top sheets designs out there (and imho some pretty darn ugly ones too).

Found this one recently and thought it was pretty awesome.

I also like the simple aesthetics of the Black Crow line (the Corvus Freebird is my favorite - maybe i'm a little biased as I own it)

Anyone else got their favorite designs or "what the heck were they thinking?" top sheets?

Almost inclined to deliver these to an art school, along with a case of Posca pens.

Surprised Asnes doesn’t do something like this as a promo. Would be ultra cool and get young people stoked on skiing.

My old Dynastar Legend Mythic Riders, the Crows on the ski are there because any type of run is unfriendly to these heavy unwieldy skis. Take them near the bumps and you will get your eyes pecked out. But the top sheet is cool in an old guy kind of way. Tried to use them for on piste Tele. Nope, the slopes said “Get get those off of me before I hurl!”

Best topsheet ever. I wish it were more matte rather than glossy though.

Yeah, for sure @mca80. Would need to hit that top sheet first with a 1000 grit wet sand to get anything to stick to it.

Seen so many cool designs on skateboards. Even a few good mountain bike frames. Lots of raw talent out there waiting for a canvas and a bit of respect. Throw in a portrait of Ben Franklin as a tribute with those paint pens and it would be a win-win.

LOL. Good one.

If anything happens to the top sheet, there are people who specialize in restoring great works of art.
