Fischer BCX GT waterproof vs OTX adventure BC

Thank you all for the great opinions/feedback,

We decided to go with the BCX GTs. They feel more capable than the OTX and are definitely more pleasant to lace.

Just walking into the house, I did notice the lack of heel hold that some members have pointed out. I will be changing the laces (which seem too short in the first place) and hope to get better heel retention with the suggested surgeon's knot.

I did try a pair of Alpina Alaska at the store, and wow! The fit was just amazing for my feet, and the boot just seem to have a much better construction. We had a considerable discount on the Fischer boots hence the choice. With an illimited budget, I would have picked the Alaskas no doubt.

Cant wait to try our new set-up this weekend!
