Come ride the T bar in Brattleboro Vermont.... One of the oldest operating community ski hills in the East. Lift tix are only 5 bucks!! http://www.vtsnowsports.org/
We have something like that here outside of Rochester:
Nothing is really free - but I guess it's the spirit of it that I love. I've went on strike this year and decided I wasn't going to buy any lift tickets (haven't yet) but I still spend a lot of money on skiing!
Wooooah, there's so many things I still don't know about New England... I'm more amazed every day...! We are so freaking retarded here, we have some many things to learn from you...
Maybe someday someone will give me a job where I can live there and work from home
Don't wait for anyone, they don't give a frig about you. Make the change, be the actor. Life is nothing but the crystallization of your thoughts. Make it cool! : )

It's free to ski if you buy a house otherwise it's 20$. It's only minutes from my place. I'm pretty sure we can ride our xcd to the mountain without using the car.
Does my spidey sense detect a trend... 5, 10, 15, 20?
That does look awesome through Bri - that tree run at the end reminds me of technical trails I really like except it looks longer and steeper... hmmm... I need to get better, I'm missing out!
Ski Bromont. The largest lit skiable area in North America, with 450 acres of skiable terrain over 7 slope sides, 32 glades and 111 runs. I'm not afraid anymore to say it's my favorite resort in the Eastern Townships. When you buy a house there, they give you a season pass for your whole family for FIVE YEARS. That's right, ski for free for 5 years. That's five years of free ski and free lift-served mountain biking in the summer. Now try to beat that Bri7!

Sorry for the duplicate post re: Northeast Slopes! Glad other people know about it. And to the post re: Cannon Mountain T-bars, I absolutely remember riding those years ago. It bought you the last stretch of terrain up top if I recall correctly. It was bascially a football field once you peaked out and turned downhill, but it was more vert nonetheless!
Are you guys trying to sell me a house? Didn't I read something about you being into real estate Johnny?
Find me a job and I'm there - awesome snow, a bunch of ski hills, and closer to the Adirondacks than I currently am... sign me up. My French is shit - but I'd get by. Je suis Montréalais!
Might not be great for my marriage - I find French girls speaking broken English incredibly cute...
