Now that I think of it, has anyone ever made the equivalent of the Madshus Epoch as a wax ski? That would be so awesome. Who really needs fishscales when you are xcDing in cold weather when you got wax anyhow?
I live for the Telemark arc....The feeeeeeel.....I ski miles to get to a place where there is guaranteed snow to do the deal....TM
Re: Cheap resort/hardpack setup.
I'm thinking there are good deals in Canada too - maybe just harder to find.
It's a terrible time to buy skis now - everything is really expensive.

I was hoping for that too but I just decided to pop on a pair of new e89 crowns for $200.

Thanks - yes Gear X. I hadn't really thought about the E89, but for what I want the skis for, it will be great.

I definitely agree. A highly underestimated ski shape for those going XCd offtrack in snow that ain't so deep. Quick and slick. Enjoy!MikeK wrote:Thanks - yes Gear X. I hadn't really thought about the E89, but for what I want the skis for, it will be great.

Thanks - this will be my first NNN setup in a long while.
I think we'll both be competing for some E109s I want some for next year but I'm unwilling to pay $350+

Oh Ben, thanks to CIMA, I'm totally obsessed with NNNBC now. I need two pairs of bindings for next season to put on the Glits and the Epochs...Only interested in my 3p quiver? That's a shame, I had assumed CIMA managed to get you more psyched about NNN BC.
Hey, I would be more than happy to trade my XCD-GTs for a pair of XCD-Comps...

Understood! How about you keep to the US market and I to the Canadian? That should keep the peace.MikeK wrote:Thanks - this will be my first NNN setup in a long while.

Anyways, I had written, I'm more for a trade than a purchase. I shelled out way to many beans on skis this year.
