The Pemigewasset Wilderness was gorgeous last weekend. Too bad about all the rain coming on Friday

No better weather to try out some new skis

@Slidey_Hiker love that place! But I’ve never skied there. Looks lovely.

Christmas Eve on a trail I hadn’t skied before. Lovely day out.

First photo or me carving telemark turns with family. In the photo, I am transitioning to a new turn I guess.

Setting my own track on the track at the local middle school this morning. Snow was a bit sticky, but not bad for a pre-dawn workout. Set my track and then did about ten laps

First telemark outing of the season yesterday on the Annum, NNN BC & Alaska boots. I really enjoy that light setup in ideal snow conditions.

Nice lines, mon ami. Great to see you enjoying the conditions.
Things started to go off here (Ottawa, ~600 km west) yesterday. The next few days will be a write-off, so get out again before the warmer air reaches you tomorrow!

We dreamed of riding waves of air, water, snow, and energy for centuries. When the conditions were right, the things we needed to achieve this came into being. Every idea man has ever had up to that point about time and space were changed. And it keeps on changing whenever we dream. Bio mechanical jazz, man.
