I found s,ome heavy duty lobster claw leather-fleece lined chainsaw mittens at our lumber store in Randolph; $35 as I recall. Watching the forecast; looks like an early sugar season? Three days above freezing next week.
Hope you’re still driving the jeep; ice and snow mix; ugh.

Yup, without the new stainless steel pans.....One of the last old time rigs.....Mostly now they look like a space ship and are automated.....Telesven and Rastatele filled the Sugar House with wood...Ane Rock it's hardpack out there so not much snow is needed for some great cruising....Getting my claws (hands) fixed so it's going to be one handed skiing in the Bush....TM

Rastatele and Telesven have the Sugar House...er wood stacked and ready...Old horse barn cut in three places.....trucked up to the bush....reassembled....leaning....but the syrup is awesome.....we still use cloth filters so flavor is not like the commercial, remove everything stuff.....Usually we make the most the last 10 days of March and a couple days in April......Supposed to get some snow today so it will be one handed skiing with my left hand in a cast....bummer!....TM

^^^^^^^ Wicked!......wish the engineers we ski with were thar creative!!!!!! They could help me!!!!! Again yesterday was a low angle ski day with 6-7 inches of fast fluffy powder that brings a big smile even before you ski.......Old Abandoned High Hill farm roads from early 1900's.....and low angle that begged us to enjoy...we did....TM
