Ya up in Duluth don't cha know! On those cold mornings, looking across the big lake it looks like a frozen abyss.

@wabene
The photo is with Lake Erie in the background, I paddle the most on Lake Huron.
@connyro Nice photo of the West Vista. I’ll send you my number next year, I’ll have a spare beer for you at my truck. I should have this year, but I didn’t want you to think I was looking for a tour guide.

Sounds good Fish! I'll be there next year and I would gladly drink your beer. That's pretty thoughtful but I wouldn't mind giving a tour for future reference...

Ah, the Catalina 18. Is there still a SJ24 fleet up there?
And what about Welch Belch, does that still happen down below?

Yes, well a Capri 18, but basically it's a Catalina. A little tank that sails well and it's stiff for is size.
The J24 fleet is still partying hard!
Welch Belch? Ya got me there, fill me in.

Re: 32nd annual Midwest Telefest
Never been down there. I do sometimes go to Tunes and Turns on Thursdays at the best little bar with a ski hill Mont du Lac. I think it's still a $14 lift ticket, cheap beer and wings and live music. The local lift served telemark thing.
