Went to one there, but can't remember when......Biff did them and they were really good....Lots of fun and they had lots of group oriented things to do....Bolton Mountain did some early on....Some young lady was in charge and she did a great job....TM
Re: Sbounds...leathers
3o winds blowing hard, trees creaking not crust exactly but a hard wind packed surface that could be skied but sometime the skis went under which snapped you to attention.....Headed down and dropped into a small zone not usually skied because of whips....Spent a slow half hour reaching out and snapping off whip heads and left a war zone of broken whips.....Two years from now it will be open Hardwood Skiing....Oh yeah!.....TM

Head wounds always bleed a lot. You must have been okay if you took a selfie! Glad you’re okay.

I bet it was one of those whips that got ya. Anyway at least it's not one of those injuries that has you sidelined.

Good one Rock....Tomato juice does the trick every time!....Skiing is tricky but good and those e109's handle it quite well....Twas 8o and 11o when I left the Highlands two hours later.....Got to Porcupine Junction and hit the North side and it was good.....Tons of deep snow (30 inches) everywhere.....Everything is rounded and oozes desire to be skied....When I broke my head Rock there was no outside blood but some pretty good inside bleeding....Remember being in the basement with no help till my wife got there and showed them our insurance....Wow!....whipped to intensive care and so forth....Never felt like I was hurting with two broken ribs a big puncture wound in my arm and three breaks in the head....Kinda like Telemark....break the head free the mind...Er-uh- might hit the Highlands again on the other side and wing up to a little knob where there should be some sweet easy turning...TM
