Hey Trock........No, it's one of the first S bound skis......No camber.....wider than the Rebounds with a 96 tip....No bones, heading in the direction of a Downhill ski......Didn't check but around a 190.....haven't skied them in a Decade or two???????? Worked so-so in breakable crust with 4-6 inches of mealy snow.......tough conditions.....BUT.....some snow is supposed to be here soon and ANY snow is good.....Boys are bringing a door and a window up to TK2 on Sunday.....I'm gonna be the unelected and uninformed foreman.....Self initiated!....Telewood built them so they should be good.....When are you going to get out of the sand and head North for some turns????? Getting a kick out of all the Northern dorks getting picturized without their masks in the land of Sun.....Hypocrites getting caught......O yeah!...TM

Chuckle, laugh! If the wife doesn't like the look of cold and snowing....will head into the nowhere up in the Highlands and see what is happening up there....If not will cc ski with her on an abandoned RR track....Will take out the 215 e99's for that.....TM

Teleking and Telewood put in a door and window high up a forest hill.....And it was good.....Look down into the valley and a couple of hills over is Mansfield with it's trails......Pretty.... pretty! Burgers and steak on the old iron stove.....which needs some loving care.....Sleet, freezing rain graupel.....most everything but inside the stove kept us warm....Good work day! Snow with crust which was added to so......if we get some snow the skiing should be good.....Do a snow dance.....TM

Good crust ski with powder under said crust.....Bout 8 inches everywhere and more here and there....The one good thing is the snow has plastered all things like rocks branches limbs and downed trees.....meaning if you have decent tips you can go over most anything.....Bout 25o yesterday and very quiet out there.....Coyote and Fischer tracks which use our ski tracks for easy traveling......Headed out toward a decent ridge when Teleking showed up....To the South of Heartbreak Hill there is a really sweet side off a small ridge where we both got some decent Tele's in....The ride back was swift as the "uphill" track was bombed on the down.....This morning I'm sitting here with the wood stove raging and the outside temp @ 18-19 below....That means that Telewheels and Teleking are closer to 30 below than 20 below....Pretty cool out there.....Sounds like snow is on the way....YAY!.....TM

Another work day up in the Highlands....Hour or two getting fallen trees.....limbs anything wood and semi dry.....Got it back to Ledge Camp and threw it down and over the ledges close to camp.....Fire and tales were told....Camp is as clean as a whistle....We figured Telewheels would show after we got the wood but.....he was sleeping as the temp was well below zero.... Conditions had not changed so the "Boys and i got our widest skis to combat the crust and all had a decent ride out.....They on bones and I with wax......Both worked well......Snowing as of now and hope to see a bunch of it for wicked powder skiing......TM

When finally done @8-10 inches depending where your at.....saw teleking up in the Highlands and he had a really good up trail skinned and.......he had made it low angle so this oldie had a decent accent with polar wax doing the deed well....Love seeing some of the left over giants of another time....yellow birch and gigantic Maples with moderate trees that survived logging from 20 years back....Whips are fewer as the crown of trees lets in little light;;;;Teleking headed for the steeps and i headed for the easy.....Both had a good ski.....Will head back up there today and find some easy open ski downs......Look at some old growth leftovers and enjoy the quiet....TM

Teleking and Telekid broke up to the top of Little Mountain....(1000) verts.....Hit what we call the East Snow Fields and had a seriously good ski down.....That run has it all....but it's greatest feature is the long bowl type openness in the middle of Hardwood forest......I skied the easy and my skinnies were making contact with that ice layeer 8 inches down....Guess a wider ski is in order...-11 degrees so it will be a cold cruise today...TM
