They are cool looking, but also look well used. That would mean that liner is probably well packed out.
I thought you had a Ski March boot? It’s a bad a$$ boot.
They don't look all that used to me. I think they may have not worked for someone and been thrown in a closet.

I do have the Ski Marches and they appear to be a good fit. The problem is that I'm getting arch pain in my left foot from using them just a little. It normally only happens from what I think is too-flat footwear. It may be that the act of lifting up in a stiff boot also "flattens" my arch in a problematic way.

So I don't know if I will be in 75mm boots much at all. Its a shame as I was really looking forward to trying it.

Have you tried different, supportive insoles? I've found they can make or break any kind of boot. Mind you, at over fifty I've still got high arches, so YMMV.

I don't have any good insoles yet. The boots have a pretty nice contour to them as is; I've walked in them a lot without problems. I'm hesitant to start throwing insoles into boots that already have built in arch support. I think the result could be unintended.

Ironically, the worst and most immediate pain came from the Alfa Guards. It was also the first time that I felt it a little in both feet, and that I felt it when I woke up the next day. I think that trying them on for hours and hours has maybe exacerbated the issue even with new insoles in them.

My priority is to ski in whatever way I can. I'm not sure that its worth it for me to try even a short trip with either one of these boots.

Vice bindings w/ cheap shipping, a few days to go but I’ve scored a few pairs this year for about 150.

Are they showing age like in the adhesive or shedding fibers?

Glue was still super sticky, seemed to stick to hard glide pretty good, could hear the glue un-sticking. Didn’t notice any fibers coming off when handled. I’ll check the fibers more tomorrow. I did notice they go in the right direction, tip to tail.

Worth it for the hardware, even if the skins are shit, the metal is good.

IN OTHER DEALS:

These Objectives w/ 75mm are still for sale, down to $250
