Sierra Trading has men's Alico double boots, sizes 8-12 (UK?).

How do these fit? Do you really think it's UK? That would prob work for me. Just curious
You can get them for less: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324507681086?h ... Swj4FgQijk

I do not understand Alico's business model. I got my Snow March boots for chump-change, UK surplus, unused.

Very cool boots. If I didn’t already have excursions,t4s and Merrell doubles…

Different sole units? “Glued on Vibram Outback” (sierra) vs Norwegian welted (eBay)

I would think the Norwegian welt construction is a much more durable sole, but heavier. How much heavier? Can't find stats for either pair, but fwiw, I owned a pair of the nw Alico doubles for a while, and they are considerably heavier than Excursions.

Well, darn.
Per @riel (Thanks, Riel), and further checking on my part, this is a scam, so disregard…

Those are super cool.
And a super deal.
And look super fast and fun.
Cross-country AND down-hill skiing in the backcountry.
Unashamed to be a "cross-country type" and love skiing down-hill.

I can't find any info on them. Don't they have much less sidecut than the current e109?

Do you think they are completely superseded by newer skis?

Ended up using this to price-match locally, so no idea about the seller.

That's a scam web site. There are a few clues giving that away:
- when you browse the web site, there is no product category for ski stuff
- there is no company address, phone number, or other real contact info listed anywhere
- much of the text on the web site appears to be verbatim copies of previous scam web sites (by the same scammers?)
