I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow, but meanwhile: I know the only way I could get the Objectives turning nicely was by a very forward stance. Which I just don't like. And also found I was getting an annoying amount of tip dive when breaking trail. Moved 'em back, issue resolved.

Now I'm sure the more forward, driving technique is what works for lots of folks. I ain't one of 'em myself. Nor do I think a tip should bury the ski in deeper snow. Just my .02 cents.

This COVID thing must be finished next winter so I can drive South to get some free lessons from you 8-) Or you come up North and we trade lessons for housing?
I'm coming up! I want a tour of the farm.

Come any time... will find something to do for you for sure

I learned something today... I did not know but Objectives/riser/leather boots is really not a good combination. I had a few free minutes and I rushed to the bigger of our small hills to get a couple of turns... did not work at all... I had no support from the boots so I was kind of leaning rigth and left... the snow was soft and deep and did not offered much support and I could not gather momentum... BUT the sun was shining and the view was wonderful so in all not a bad day 8-)

Update: In the end I mounted them at Voilé's recommended boot centre line. I just spent an hour with them in by far the worst frozen concrete-like conditions I've encountered this season and... WOW!!!

They climb very nicely, round flex, very easy to turn, good for making the odd parallel turn. I can't wait to try them out in good conditions :D
