Thank @Woodserson , he pointed me there.
But, it should have also been on a tag on the new skis?

I wouldn't know, still patiently for them to arrive. Cleared customs so any day now. Hopefully we'll get some snow at some point...
At the time I ordered them Voile was sold out of my size so while googling I found them here:

I don’t know what size you ordered, but I got 178cm.
When I first looked for them several weeks ago, everyone, everywhere I could find, was out of them.
Then, about a week later, I looked again and both Voile and Skimo.co had a couple of pairs in my size, so I jumped on it.
When I got them, the tag on the skis said “Manufacture Date 2/26/21.”
I was blown away.
There is actually something to “Made in America.”
Voile is able to just make skis in Salt Lake City as needed, rather than guessing at how many they will sell that season and having them mass produced off-shore.
That website looks something like eBay for sports equipment?

Re: Mounting 75mm bindings on Voilé UltraVector BC
I very recently purchased Ultravectors and Switchbacks directly from Voile. The intended purpose for this setup is all-round backcountry touring for turns in Colorado. Since the mounting was free, I let them do it, figuring they'd know better than anyone exactly where to mount the bindings. When I got them I was a little surprised to see how far forward they mounted the bindings.....close to 3cm farther forward compared to all my other skis. Of course, I first checked to see if they had mounted them where the chart said and they were spot on. I also called and asked what the thinking was about mounting so far forward and the only answer I could get was that it was based on the contact points of the particular ski. Ok, whatever. I've only skied them a couple of times and, so far, they seem just fine. Really great, actually! I suppose that if, at some time, I decide I don't like the mounting, I can always move them back a bit.

Indeed, seems to be. As I said I found it by googling "ultravector bc 177 white" and it led me there. Looks like a mix of people selling old gear and stores using it to sell stuff over the internet.Stephen wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 12:52 pmI don’t know what size you ordered, but I got 178cm.

I also got 178s. And indeed I noticed that they restocked, but I didn't realize that they were actually newly manufactured. That's pretty crazy!

Interesting... I guess I'll see what they look / feel like when they arrive and make the call.Schusskabob wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 1:38 pmI very recently purchased Ultravectors and Switchbacks directly from Voile. The skis that I'm taking the Switchbacks from were actually mounted with the boot centre about 1.5cm in front of the the ski centre line. I bought them used (2015 G3 District Carbon 100) mostly for the bindings and never enjoyed them for telemark. They are heavy and stiff and while ok in powder I find them too wide for resort use. Maybe the forward mounting contributes to the weird feeling.

@Woodserson @phoenixWoodserson wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 7:15 amAgree with Phoenix. Reduces tip dive as well. I've been going -2 with success, -3 on the V6 which is very forward, comparatively. Much better!phoenix wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 4:20 amVoile does have a clear chart with their suggested mounting point for each ski. I found this to be too forward on my Objective's with 75's; I went with this for a season, and found it kind of awkward both for touring and turning. I did adapt my turning technique, but didn't like the style it required.
Sweet spot for me is about 3.5cm behind their line. Seems to me the recommended point is geared toward "new school", downhill oriented performance, with a more forward, driving the ski style. Present location allows me a more naturally centered technique, and a more upright stance. Bettter for breaking trail in deeper snow as well.
Could you guy share pictures of your Objectives as I would like to compare where mine are mounted. I also noticed that the Hyper Vector are really sensible to tip diving... so maybe I can stop blaming my lack of technique and put some of the blame on the binding location on the ski

V6 -3cm from Recommended.
Check your boot center and reference the Voile Mounting Diagram, linked above.
If you are getting tip dive on your 184cm ultravectors... chances are high that you're doing something wrong.

of course I am doing something wrong . Well, i think I am leaning too much forward... maybe tip diving is not the right way to express it. In soft snow over crust they « bite » too much in the crust so it is hard to get out of a turn... I detuned them a bit so they don’t do it as much... I wonder if I move my binding backward like you did with the Objectives will help? But the main factor is most likely my lack of experience and technique. This COVID thing must be finished next winter so I can drive South to get some free lessons from you Or you come up North and we trade lessons for housing?
