Any kids tele boots in a 22 out there that need a new home? Got an 8 year old who wants to give it a go!

Cheers,

Ben

I have a pair of size 6, leather, Asolo Snow pine for sale here. I believe they've been bumped down to page 3. Pics are there, take a look.
Go your own way, the lines are shorter...

Hi Benny, i literally just outfitted my 8 year old and gave her her first tele day yestereday. We got the mondo 23 g-rex's for her, they are a few sizes too big but good to grow. My advice would be to go with a leather/leather-style boot and not the plastic g-rex depending on how strong your 8 year old is. I found that the plastic g-rex are not flexible enough and it's currently not easy enough for my daughter to get the boot to bend at the bellows. Of course if you have a little one who is on the heavy/strong side - then the g-rex may be perfect.

Good luck!

(P.S. i have simliar regrets about going with a cable binding instead of 3 pin.)

Not sure how close to 22 you need but Sierra.com has T4: https://www.sierra.com/scarpa-made-in-i ... elemark%2F

I ended up getting a pair of overstock G-rex's from a used gear reseller, super cheap for about 100 shipped. (Pro Tested Gear). We got mondo 23, to grow. Oddly those these boots are STIFF. The bellows can barely flex, which is rough for a 50lb 8 year old! I'm thinking maybe I should have gotten some alpina's and voile 3-pins instead...
