I am in no position to comment on the right or wrong way to traverse the trail by human power, but I enjoyed the Rusch video. while the video focused on her bike ride, there are a few second clips showing foot powered racers of all kinds

btw, because of this thread I've ended up watching a number of videos on YouTube about the 350 Invitational. the vids I've seen all are about bike riders, but I've really enjoyed the vids. the race is hardcore no matter what kind of human power.
