introduction
Hi guys,
I'm living in Romania, skiing tele for the last 5 years and loving it.
Start to tele on an AT TLT binding, then upgrade to NTN. I do mostly back-country skiing.
Unfortunately, telemark is not very popular here, and with that I mean that I've never seen another telemark binding except mine's. Pretty much learning how to tele from YouTube movies and feeding with info's from the old telemarktalk forum.
Thank You for having me on this forum.

Hi MikeK, this are Carpathians mountuins.
Hi Johnny, my setup is TX Pro, Rotte NTN orange and Atomic Automatic. Looking to change it for some lighter setup; I've calculate 5 kg per foot and just can't keep up uphill with my mates, which are around 3kg/foot.

Yep, this is like about the heaviest setup you can get... It feels so good to be light...!
What are you planning to buy?
No Ron, don't post that Voile 3pc picture here again!

Re: introduction
That's a good question! Every ski I like is about 2-2,2kg and thats about the same weight as my actual ski (2,3kg). And I can't decide for other systems (75 mm or 3 pin), because I've never skied them. What are you planning to buy?
So, I'm kind of stuck! Any ideas?
Re: introduction
Cool! It looks like you have some real mountains there Marius - I saw your pictures on the other thread. I've seen pictures of areas of the Carpathians but they looked much different, but I suppose it's a big range.
As far as bindings I cannot help you. I'm a lowly xc skier who skis on pin bindings. And we don't have any mountains like yours in the northeast United States. It looks like you are doing some serious ski mountaineering
