Is she good enough to be starting the next turn while in the one she's just starting? Cool thought but am not sure....If there is no wedge it's a parallel...bad as I am in math...Course the smile says it all......TM

Teleman, it's exactly what she's doing. It's one of the basic thing we teach... (Remember, I do have my telemark instructor certification... : )

It helps to keep your upper body facing downhill all the time. It forces the skier to initiate the turn with the lower body only.

Take a closer look at the background. Look at the trail. She's facing straight into the fall line.

Course the smile says it all...

That, is always the most important thing. To me, fun is more important than technique.

I knew you were holding out! So when is your "XCD for Dummies" book coming out??

And I bet if you put your mind to it you could make some money with that thing... and keep skiing every day!

Nah, my english sucks really bad. My knowledge of the spoken English language is made of about 20 words, which I badly use over and over for everything. Plus, there's already plenty of great XCD books out there...

But I'd like to write for a magazine... Or maybe start the first ever XCD mag? Who wants to contribute to the official XCD magazine?

Your writing is good. Better than most Americans actually.

You need to contact Craig Dostie, you know that guy at the other forum. He used to have a magazine. I don't think it's all it's cracked up to be...

You really just need to speak 20 words for English. That is about the average vernacular of a teenager... mostly swears.

Sorry to be the the ghost at the feast by mentioning Dostie (he banned me too, Ron) but seriously... why have a magazine? You have this forum. It has the potential for spreading more information and media than any magazine could ever dream of. This is why I contribute.

Because they would make nice collectibles. They would be limited editions. And we would have front covers with the most beautiful girls skiing XCD style in exotic lush forests. With articles about how to build an igloo and how to make love in the snow. They would be the perfect addition to any fireplace mantel.

Hmm... that's pretty convincing (except the snow sex part).

But Johnny... you have the most beautiful girl to ski with and take pictures of, you just have to get her to go! The most exotic and amazing forests are waiting for you to ski, not look at on the mantel. (and no smiley face, I'm being serious!)

Exactly! And so do you! Why not gather all those stories and all those pictures and share them with other XCD skiers in a nice mag? You're right, that's what this forum is all about... : )

You're sure you don't wanna know about lovemaking in the snow..?

I knew you'd agree :)

As far as the sexy snow, I don't think I'm man enough...
