Don't worry Joe... The Gear Acquisition Syndrome is affecting a lot of us here...
(Me am beyond hopeless... Me am dead already. Me already wasted all my extra lives...)

I once had Woodserson in my office for a GAS disorder consultation... Ouch, he has a pretty bad case too... He pretty much wasted all his extra lives too... But at least he has a big garage, which helps a lot to prevent the cluttering of active living areas... 8-)

That said, I really can't wait to buy the WL versions of the NOSI, TINDAN and hopefully the FJORO. The thing is that I will need to buy them in all available sizes for my personal collection... I started saving already...

I really hope they will be available with pink bases to match my pants and laces...
(And your Skinalp belt of course...)

I had a dream last night...

I dreamed that Asnes was making a new waxless version of the Nosi. It was beau-ti-ful. The ultimate backcountry ski. In my dream, it was called the WXL-1 NATO Peacekeeper, and it looked something like this...

What do you think? 8-)

That does look like it could be an interesting ski Johnny. It seems like it isn’t quite as shapely as the Nosi, perhaps better tracking? I hope in your dream they made it in a 189 class ski for guys that are a bit stockier from years of heavy work!

Calling BS.

Too pink for NATO.

Fishscales are not visible.

Logo on base means sintered, meaning scales would have to be machined. Too expensive.

Appears much wider than Nosi.

But I'd love to be wrong!

What you need is the white Alfa Polars... They would be perfect with the WXL-1... 8-)

Hi, could someone comment on the Nosi camber ? Would It camber allow for effective use of the kick wax? Do you think It will go with nnn Bc magnum and Alfa guards?

Greetings from Poland!

Marcin

Single camber, alpine style... They sure work with kick wax... But not super efficient because of the low camber...

NOSI + NNNBC + GUARDS = The ultimate dream.

Hi, nice review!

I have my Fischer Excursion 88 189cm now with Riva 3 use my Svartisen 75mm(like to practice telemark)
But would like better flow if we got little more and deep snow this winter:)

Looked first at Åsnes Raab but mybe the Nosi 76 or the Stortind 86 would work better(181cm and 94kg)???
Are they any diffrent crosscountry camber and so on?
Are they us the same kind of skin? Little skeptical about the skin.... Like fishscale.
