for extra credit, name this mountain...clue: there is no ski area....I was there 2 months ago, and it's not in California, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming or Montana.

btw, its snowing today. I guess the flakes don't show up well in the pic. I took a vid and the snow shows up better. Lone Peak in the distance is heavy snow from 10k-11k

today's run. photo taken about 8500ft. the tram station in the upper left is about 9600. it doesn't look that far or that steep to get to the tram station, but its close to 2 miles from where I took the pic. you can't run off the road because its all loose rubble/scree and everything moves. the whole running loop is like 8 miles and 2500 ft vert.

that road is scary AF!!! I was visting a few years ago and my buddy started driving his ancient Jeep Cherokee over the potholes hard enough I was having an anxiety attack looking over the edge, I made him slow down.

We drove up there the morning after I flew in from Boston. We hiked around the top for a while, then stopped a short distance down and did another small hike. I had a strange reaction from the altitude - I felt totally fine except one of my feet suddenly cramped so hard I thought I had somehow broken it!! It was so bad I couldn't walk on it, my friend had to help me back to the car, never had an reaction to altitude like that before. took me a while to figure out what happened.
