And some of us over-compensate their dumbness by overbuying overpriced extreme-high-end imported gear...Woodserson wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 3:03 pmEither us easterners are too tough, too stubborn, too dumb. All up for debate. I'm too dumb to move west.

No worries Johnny... I was not serious of courseJohnny wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 3:48 pmMan... No frustration here at all... We had paradisal BC skating ski conditions here in the last 2 weeks...! Amazing, beautiful skiing every single day...!!! These perfect conditions happen only a few times a year...Nitram Tocrut wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 2:59 pmI guess we all need a big snowstorm in the east so we go skiing!!! I assume this “angry” “discussions” only involves easterner that are frustrated by the lack of snow that the westerners seem to be keeping for themselves
I did XC everyday as well... fast conditions in the fields either 3 pins or SNS... there is the seed for a new debate... is it sane to mount SNS on 220 cm old E99? Don’t know if it’s sane but sure is fun on the crust

You are lucky you had 30 years experience before trying it on light xcd gear. Imagine trying to figure it out on 210cm double camber skis with no big mountain experience.
I had almost 30 years skiing leather boots almost exclusively and was due for a change.(ditched the double camber skis years ago) I agree it's about having fun and discussing different ways of skiing so why did you have to insult many of us by saying that what we do is boring and "why bother"?

the comment wasn't meant to be insulting...it was a light hearted joke...I thought you would have gotten that from my sex analogy.. sheesh. people are too intense here. I guess I won't express my opinions or share my experiences anymore. thanks for reading.

Wow, show me a quote where I dissed other peoples way of skiing. It sounds to me like you're describing yourself.

I'm confused also. Not sure Al has EVER said something negative about somebody's ski choices.lowangle al wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 10:23 amWow, show me a quote where I dissed other peoples way of skiing. It sounds to me like you're describing yourself.
