Most likely the same sole issues as 10 years ago.

Yeah it's probably scarpa that is off in the dimension.
Kinda tempted to get a pair of sb 98 or another pair of 112..and find some used switchbacks for cheap and put on them. Or even just some nnn binding. They where selling all sbounds and other Fischer ski's at 70% off. They often goes for more than that on the used marked! But they only had 98 in 169 and 189 lengths. I went for the 112 in 179.

Where did the shop mount the S-112?
What are Fischer's mounting recommendations for the S-Bound 112? And- does it have a boot center mark on it?
BTW- not all BP mountings are purely for XC (I certainly used to assume that they were).
For example- Asnes' current Telemark binding mounting recommendations for their downhill skis is to mount at BP.

Re: help with mounting bindings on fischer sbound.
I have a pair of S-112 mounted originally by ORS. They were mounted for a 3-pin HW. I have both 3 pin cable which I intend to mount, and 3-pin HW templates. So I will provide original mounting in relation to boot center and balance point.
Re: help with mounting bindings on fischer sbound.
I think they are mounted pins on balance point. It's not bot center at least.
Re: help with mounting bindings on fischer sbound.
Wish I had this cobra r4 binding. Can have a tour mode just by moving the cable in front of the binding!
(Edit for spelling, english isn't my first language, bit hard to explain stuff)
Is the front part with the cable tracks a separate pice one can get and use in front of riva3 and other cable bindings? Sometimes I losen the spring tension for touring, but these cable tracks is such a simple and elegant way to change the tension on the springs.(Edit for spelling, english isn't my first language, bit hard to explain stuff)

Hummm... Wrong, all the Asnes downhill skis have boot center marks on them...

Yes, the plate with the cable guides is a separate riser. Keep an eye on your heel lever rotating off center with that model.
In order to use it with another Riva toe piece, you'll need to have cable guides on the sidewalls.

Sorry- I didn't mean to suggest that they don't- yes they do have BC marks on them- but Asnes has told me that is for Alpine bindings...
But when I have asked for advice on mounting 75mm/NNNBC bindings on them- for downhill skiiing- they have told me to mount at the balance point.

Same here. They told me in an email to disregard the mounting mark and mount all the skis pin line at balance point. Made for a weird mounting point on the Tindan, not sure it's working.lilcliffy wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 12:45 pmSorry- I didn't mean to suggest that they don't- yes they do have BC marks on them- but Asnes has told me that is for Alpine bindings...
