Quiz? Huh? Here is one for you telekid....Ready to challenge Whip world up in Wheelock down to Flagg Pond? You remember Telewheels grabbing Telekings boots as he started the head first slide down the 15 foot gully to the frozen stream bed? Or five feet away was no see em terrain....Walls of whips....acres of whips.....over a thousand verticals of whips.....Wicked whip world....TM
I remember that ski well T-man. I vowed not to do that run for another ten years it was so bad. Its been seven years or so and still in no rush to go back to that whip hell. Lucky for tele king tele wheels grabbed him before tumbling into the ravine and brook. Machetes would have been standard eqip on that ski.
Telesven is coming off a steep shot and I mean a shot where the steep plane hits a flat plane....If he had his weight evenly distributed he would have eaten snow...but...his skill allowed him at the last moment to sit back, raise the tips, sit back and ride it out...Pictures tell you a story but not the whole story....Did you ever get any of those videos of the boys up near Telecamp? Remember Teleking slicing through two trees about ski width apart? Glad we didn't have to haul his highness out on a sled....TM
