How about next week? I hear you are finally getting the powder back. Would you have time mid-week for a few runs?

Chugged up to the Highlands and there was Telekid getting ready to leave....He said the Northeast was dynamite! Off we both went, he to work, me to ski....Everything was grey with snow horizontal and copious amounts of snow blowing off trees....A general howl as the winds played....Visibility was limited but the ski track Telekid had set had two new inches from when he had gone up an hour before......Even on skinnies there was nothing but powder...Slicing down and in to surfatizing everything was good....Head them down and enjoy the ride...And we did!!!! Used the Andrews North Rim yesterday and they felt a tad heavy....Then again haven't used anything but light lace ups....Can't say I felt anything but bliss on the down...TM

Lighting was superb yesterday....From pink shining through tele openings up top to no sun zones in total blue mode...Tops of trees brilliant in rhyme and powder....sparling.....And powder....a few inches of cold smoke...to @ 10 inches of heavy powder further down...Wicked!.....Hadn't seen Tele Rock and Tele Roll for months and we all had a blast.....Teleking...Telekid Rock and Roll and Telewheels headed to the steep and deep and did some yo-yoing....I headed for the sustained down on the East side where the snow was deeper and damn cold...Opening that you could drive a Mack truck through to glorious bowls of moderate and steep at times...fantastic place to just S turn everywhere....At times the best sustained Telemark Hardwood skiing in a long, long time.....With readings of 21 below zero to 16 below where we exited the car.....it wasn't the time to use boots with a hole in them....Took a while to thaw them out...bummer....Beer and a warm "Penthouse" made for lots of fun with totally animated Telemarkers shouting over one another about how good it was....Will let Telerock tell of their adventures in the steeps...Teleman

Did a repeat of Sunday with Teleking...Telewheels...Telerock.....Excellent, with snow a bit more consolidated. Still hanging to Crystal world up on top....Boys seemed to enjoy the down....a lot.....Tried out the short 109's and sure wished they were longer....But the new ones have not come yet....However when heading them down they really are a great powder ski....And you can use lace up boots a real positive......Is it possible New York will get over an inch of ice?.....Man that isn't something to look forward to...TM

Vt. Minimal cell phone reception.... the bestplace tovacation... Five days skiing, virgin powder except for the Smugglers Notch pay-to-ski one day. That wasempty trails of groomed packed powder. With pockets of fresh snow in the glades.
Will send photos

No camera today. 5 degrees andreminant 6-8” powder on three-p-k. Followed in someones tracks up. Wheels says there was at least a foot of dry powder. Big burl looks good. Fire and beers in camp. Candybar lunch.
T-king says maybe a later starttomorrow...plowour driveways first before skiing...
