Yes I can. It's just a worn out bushing from a mountainbike rear shock.

Update on the bungee cord cable locking modification:
The over-the-heel-throw bungee routing and foam tape did make the binding much less loud, but not completely silent.
I will continue to ski it like this pretty happily, until I come up with something to keep them totally silent.

I shared this in another thread, and though it isn't quite a binding mod, I thought it may be applicable here.
I used some metal loop things from home depot (a bit bigger than I wanted, but work fine) screwed in my ski to add a place to secure a leash when using an NNN-BC binding, as there is no hole to secure a leash to with these.
Seems to work fine, and for under $10 it is cheap and easy.
Picked up 2 snowboard leashes that Velcro around the ankle for $8 each, with a built in lock, and I am set for just about $25. Can even lock my skis somewhere if I need to!

Of course that is applicable here. Nice simple solution to a binding related problem!

There is also another simple solution for having you cables out of the way without removing them:

Voile use to make them; you snap them underneath the lip of the heel piece. I use that system on one of my ski for years; great! They are probably easy to make out of HDPE or with a 3d printer...

That seems great too, too bad Voile doesn't seem to sell them anymore. Is that intended for the 3-pin Cable style cable, or Hardwire style cable?

For the 3PC... There is not enough space to snag the HW cables behind the heel piece...

Not sure if this quantifies as FrankenBinding or not but it’s working AND giving me peace of mind as I’ve still got a tender ankle from last months misadventure...

WonderfulWife gifted me with a set of brand new Telebry release plates. I mounted them (on inserts) with a Voile binding. The cables are thrift store Cobras that lay flat behind the heel riser and snap in the back of my Alicos easily.

Have the DIN set for 5 right now. Had one release so far when the weak ankle ski submarined.
