I'm just going to tell myself it was better to pay full retail and break them into my feet and my feet only. After all, I had a wise man once answered a post of mine with, " It is not hygienic to ski in somebody else's tracks".

Better trust your instinct. These so-called wise men could actually be smoking crack, or most likely innocent clowns with very complex reversed nonsense of humor...

Re: Gear Basket
Mine come Saturday, I will be north, sliding on rental snow with my son. I will try on my new 45's Sunday when I get home. If they fit, they may be going back to Colorado. Well, if they don't fit they will going back to Colorado too!
I guess I will see what happens on Sunday.
Cheers,
...and Thank you

Ahahaha! In my native tongue, that would translate into "Buy it NOW!"fisheater wrote:If they fit, they may be going back to Colorado. Well, if they don't fit they will going back to Colorado too!
I have read somewhere that some freaks own like 5-6 pairs of Alaskas...
I can't believe it's still available. That wise BenGreg also reminded me of an important lesson lately: Sharing is cool. Destiny might have a few bad surprises for you if you don't share your leads or killer deals...bgregoire wrote:That wise-crack actually taught me a thing or two about ehbay purchases: its NOW or never!
Just read earlier this morning: (in The life of St Francis of Assisi by St. Bonaventure)
"I should be accounted a thief by the great Almsgiver were I to withhold that which I wear from him who has greater need of it than I."

Re: Gear Basket
Anyone still using SNS X-Adventure bindings and interested in trying out comfy and well-constructed Alfa boots? There are a bunch of Alfa Montanas on sale here:

Obviously, these are older boots, just can't say how old though.

Re: Gear Basket
Thanks for the tip Ben! My in-laws are still using SNS-XA and don't want to switch out bindings. I will definitely pass this along.bgregoire wrote:Anyone still using SNS X-Adventure bindings and interested in trying out comfy and well-constructed Alfa boots?
