LJ excellent shot of flowers and skis...Ron thanks....bout now am just starting to "feel" the urge to ski....My dial up sometimes won't pick up pictures that you put up....that I took!!!!! But the ones that I see bring back lots of laughs especially the tree!...Once...I was able to ski down the tree, finesse a slight turn and start up the other end before jumping off...Teleking said bull...., so we skied down and tracks don't lie....But He and Telekid are masters of TREE skiing...I'm a lucky amateur...TM

And if you learn on softer equipment you will learn better because you actually have to do the technique, you can’t rely on the equipment to do it for you." Mystery quote ?

Again sorta Ron....have seen skiers on gigantically wide short skis with fur? sealskin?...in the middle come down stuff that is unreal....He or she came down very steep areas with obstacles that would have put most of us down...No spray on turns no distance on "jumps"...It was like unreal...Somebody had a very slow controlled ride on very steep and obstacle loaded slopes....More power to them....When analyzing the tracks we had a very hard time trying to figure it out....Telekid met up with this fellow and kurt described some wild equipment...That guy could not have been up there without it....TM

We are out climbing the steeps Tman..All done by about noon each day..
The humidity is so low here in summer ( sticky day now and then) that it's not hard to cool ..but it's still hot and the sun really sears away at plants ..and animals!
Cools nicely into the lower 60's at night..
Another 10 days or so and it looks to cool back into the 80's or lower 90's..
The back of summer will be broken in 4 -5 weeks as the nights really quickly lengthen..
