Telekid pushing some heavy stuff below where Rox is...was...We tried to get to the East snow fields Slackfest but missed....nothing unusual for a bunch of pinners....TM

Only thing you can ski on around here LJ is black flies and....a stinkin deer fly took half my hand....being old never felt nothing till there was nothing but a stump left...TM

I think you mean that even Alpine was Freeheel back then ?

Metal edges....with LJ on the fifties....40's was kinda hurting...WW2 and all....Still got a set of skis from Austria...from the 40's...thinking ww2 skis...metal edges also...Every once in a while I take both out and keep it real..er...TM

I noticed the cable bindings and was thinking most heels were locked by the 50's ? :? :?

Just a sensation... To much molded rubber wrapping the shoes, maybe also the girls makeup and the goggles. I suspect that it is a more modern picture, taken black and white. Cheers. gfwp
