There better be a Clift that goat can jump off!!!!!!! Was out and about yesterday....caught the snow as a cold front moved in....so the under mush crush was skiable....good turns were had....the powder was like an ice cream sundae with a cherry on top....Below zero today, so snow will be slow....Love being out on hills with trees popping and winds howling....TM

Skipped skiing yesterday...played horseshoes....Boys headed up into the Highlands, but playing shoes at the Bern's old hippy house was lots of fun.....headed up into the ridges of Little Mountain today and the skiing was excellent for this year of no snow....Everything is soft....rounded....three inches on top and while very fast you can come around faster.....Nice skinny marks compared to the Vectors from a couple days back....But then again if your port starboard that will result....Skinnies were very fast and came around so you never slowed down....Felt so good fore and aft....the kind of skiing that comes from cruising cross country....Did I mention fast?.....Elongated riding....Aaaahhhh...TM

cruised through serious mud up to Little Mountain....Would have to ski mud leaves snow and debris to get to skiing as we know It....Got in the car and muded up to the Highlands....North and east are holding some....The last remnants...yesterday headed down a logging road to nowhere and the best was in a drainage ditch full of corn and did that feel sweet for about twenty feet....Oh yeah.....North and east sides are thin but skiable....Ponds are looking unreliable....streams are up....made 4 gallons of syrup two days ago and today will be a big run....Telesven is doing seriously good things there....TM

Tman as long as you're not size 11 you'll be set (they're out of UK10/US11). btw I have a pair of the new Andrew Zenith in size 46 I will be posting for sale soon.

BG is it me or does one boot look 2 size larger than the other in that pic? these ski march are probably not as stiff as the Blaze, they don't have the plastic in the heel and they still flex pretty well. Somewhere b/w the Tour and Blaze. they're probably intended for skiing with heavy loads, don't know how well that translates to telemarking. The sole appears to be the same as the Alico Double, it's pretty heavy.

"C" will check around on the Zenith....Memory serves they are a good loking boot but at 46 to big for me. Is it me or does there seem to be a growing number interested in leather Boots? Up to @ 15+ gallons of sweet fancy syrup....Need one more charge to have about half a crop....Tough year skiing and seems to be the same with sap....TM

The woods were talking....do it...do it....I didn't....Wanted so bad to let the skis go but probably wouldn't have skied out....Debris everywhere....strips of snow....Here and there could link a couple together but basically by the time I got to the Highlands the new snow had reformed into a surface of crn in between lots of bare ground....Steeps where there was a bit more.....Forget it....Sap was flowing yesterday and in a few minutes I'll fire the evaporator up and finish yesterdays crop....The "sugar boys" will take over and the world will be sweet with syrup....TM

Up to @ 50 gallons, an average year....Really good stuff and you won't be surprised we do it by wood and paper and cloth filters....We think it tastes better than industrial syrup....Just like skinny telemark....Yummie....Telekid and I hit it hard yesterday...2 inches of powder no base and it was as good as you would think.....Horrible....Oh well!
