Studies in Entropy
I couldn't help but notice some people's ski benches looks like mine... and other's look very neat and clean.
For instance, connyro's is suspiciously clean:
And then there is Johnny's, which looks more like mine:
What can we infer from these pictures? Is this a reflection of one's self?
I'll tell you what, I wish I could be like the first one because I'm constantly losing things.

HA! Well, it says more about how information and assumptions made on the internets is not always what it seems...
That's my buddy's workbench. Uninterestingly, mine's a pigsty too. And what's funny is that's a workbench in one of my buddy's rentals; his real "workbench" is an entire fucking shed full of mess, with a workbench buried in there somewhere.

Whew... I was worried I would have to ban you. I don't think anyone should have anything that clean!

I haven't used my workbench for working on skis in a long time because I don't heat my garage. I do my tune ups and binding work on the floor in my fourier.

Ahahahahah! SO funny..!!
From what I can see, my observation is that Johnny obvisouly uses his workbench a lot. But on the other hand, Connyro's buddy must be a much better ski tech than Johnny, as he can fix and tune all his skis with just a Wescott and a level...
Now if you want to go deeper in your research and analysis, you should compare and try to find a correlation between one's workbench and hairdo... You might need to dig for more data though...

Re: Studies in Entropy
If it can't be done with a crescent wrench and a level, it's not worth doing. Those are words to live by.
Re: Studies in Entropy
Replace "level" with "axe" and I'd agree with that statement.
Re: Studies in Entropy
I really want to see you mount some ski bindings with an ax and crescent wrench. Post a video! Please!

Ha. Yeah the shop shots are always interesting still lifes.
Mine looks like yours, but then goes through tidy moments or order before the entropy sets in again.

My entire basement is Chaos. Really hoping some of this non-snow spring weather will motivate me to reverse the process.
I have a sweet 2007/2008 Arrow AX9-4S roller I need to move. Any takers? One the best karts ever made for 4 cycle or Yami. So good an American company copied it and still sells it. This one is nearly mint
