Yo Teleman and Lj, and FHBilly ..
We ran into this fine fellow on Saturday..On some ancient
skinny waxless Fischers and leathers - second gen Voile releasable
CRB and said he had not been on the snow for 20 years!!!.. He was with 2 friends
on "cheating gear"..His lady friend said the terribly worn and dirty , ragged
old Carhart really "accentuated" the "outfit" ..Fine spring skiing
(free all week) at 49 degrees North..It's only an hr from where you
all stayed Tman..We'll hit it also..next time!!! He skied fine --on that green at least..

For us a real good day....Our arch is 2 and a half feet wide and 8 feet long....Takes some boiling to turn it into syrup...Ron can't place holden....Hit the highlands and it was good but nowhere near perfect corn....When Stowe closes will hit that but the BC continues....Also LJ on Memorial Day weekend Rob Rox kinda hosts a "Slackfest" on the East Snowfields on Mount Washington.....It's fun...TM

Had some extra sap yesterday so I made a big 250ml of syrup last night... Always tastes a million times better than the commercial stuff...! When we had a bit of land, we used to make syrup every year by putting the buckets straight into the bonfire... Pure DIY... 8-)

TM, I'll be homeless in two weeks... We'll just live in our van for a few months... So yeah, please let me know about that Mt Washington thing!

Get warm fuzzy feelings when I see that picture.....What a great ski season.....Still going....will hit something in a few hours....17o howling winds snow and blowing....2 new inches which will make for some waxable cruising...Do not want to run into that bear up there......It's a big sucker and.....saw where it parallel a moose in deep snow...while they don't usually attack moose this was a close call...LJ if on the road and in a car come down here....for a few....get your horseshoe vectors going and see what we do to keep in shape in the summer....Hint....shoes and beer.....Gonna ARC today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TM

Possible...have gotten a ski in the hills around here for years or decades....but....two years ago Telekid and I put on a camera show of "jumping "....I put snow on my skis ...jumped up on a 4 by 4 foot patch of snow the only snow left in the area.....snow flew...looked good enough to fool some people.....sooo Telekid is gonna outdo his old man....snow on the skis...he jumps...snow flying....looking good....his face shows shock....he twists and crashes into the wet seeping...mossy snow.....oooo what a show.....so there can be skiing then there can be skiing....That time of year we usually patch ski up on Mansfield....but Ron has a picture taken in 1997? where Teleking is flying in what looks like patchy snow....it was one of the first picture sessions Teleking and I had...It was May 14.....lots of snow that year....Coulda been 1994....shoulda been on the cover of a ski mag....And J pure tele....Wonder if Ron will know which one....TM

What a year continues.....Telekid was in the area of Raventele's picture....that area is now off the radar....But south of where I was two days ago is a great hour or two cruise.....hardwood ridges with a pond in the middle that must be crossed....gingerly....tippy toe....TM
