LJ skiing the best powder in....possibly.....decades.....dynamite......Steep....moderate....just angulate and whatever ski your on will work to it's best....wicked powder....2014 is one for the memories book....TM

33o misty....snow...rain...kinda like spring....thinking the two weeks of awesome powder is over....thinking we will head up to Telecamp this weekend...up in the highlands....very deep out there....Some ledge drops???? ski down downed trees????? giant old growth tree stumps with big drops off it....Up there anything is possible as is a good meal and fine beer....Next week will bring sap...Could be a real short season....TM

Yeah TM... I'm crazy about sap too... There's something about it... There's nothing like sap after a whole day of spring skiing under the sun...
You know what I like even better? Those last runs at the end of May when you can grab a few fresh ramps on your way up...

Are you out of your mind?!? I've been dreaming about the Karhu Traverse for YEARS!!
But they are impossible to find my size... I was so jealous when I found her a nice pair of brand new Traverses, exactly her size, for 25$...! Arrrrgh!!!
They are like 20 times stiffer than my Alaskas... The back part is made of plastic, and the velcro strap is just perfect... Dream boot... Please someone find me a pair of 10.5...!

I skied in the Karhu Traverse, with the
old 10th Mnts..Nice boots for low-angle
XCD..Not sure exactly what one would
use in place of them now...Maybe the BCX 675,
a more capable boot I would think, certainly,
the 875 is so..
