Spring break!

Post by jellero » Thu Mar 27, 2014 11:01 pm

made it through the texans, arkansas last week. colorado and who knows this week, then monday i hear the locals get the the mt. back (monarch). skied last week and the first ride up the lift stopped five times, nine times in three rides. it's the lifties though. a kid in front of me had his ski veer to the outside on the ramp at the bottom and the liftie jumped over me to hit the off button. ?? usually such jumpiness ends after xmas. i went back to my truck for a snack and some guy skied down and into the mud next to me, bragging about how great it was. another guy asked if we could take turns letting our dogs out to play in the snow, in other words, put mine in my truck so he could let his out. my dog is a little 30 lb. border collie sweetheart. too weird... j

i took my malamutt up the lift once. he was really good which was a relief because he would have pulled me off if he wanted to jump. same with flying in a small plane. he just hopped in and sat there looking out the window, then a frisbee break in nebraska ( on way to michigan from colorado). i'm not getting much skiing in due to back pain but adding the touroids in with the drive up, the parking lot and then the ski down just makes me want to stay home. end of season blues topped with spring break gets me interested in gardening... :| j
