There is some truth to only the government can plow the road LHartley- I remember a guy in Calgary getting fined by the city for clearing roads with his Bobcat years ago- their rationale was that he could possibly damage curbs, foilage etc. The city wasn’t clearing those streets because they were low priority but at the same time wouldn’t allow a private citizen make the street a little safer for use, maybe prevent an accident.

That doesn't surprise me at all, Calgary is run by degenerates. Most of southern Alberta rural roads are done by private sector. Volker Stevin, they do excellent work
