This is the World Famous TelemarkTalk / TelemarkTips / Telemark Francais Forum, by far the most dynamic telemark and backcountry skiing discussion board on the world wide web since 1998. East, West, North, South, Canada, US or Europe, Backcountry or not. http://eddie.dnsprive.com/~telemark/
I suspect minus release (can't really stand this one), but plus free pivot (do not care much; unrestrictive RoM is much more important IME).
p.s. aha, it's on EYT...
I couldn't care less about step-in (Rottefella approach is good enough for me), but why non-tech toe?
The metal bail is so 1970s...
Metal bail will eat your boots, it's metal-on-plastic.
Likewise, NTN false-heel hook is metal-on-plastic too.
Metal-on-metal seems much more robust.
Moreover, tech toe opens the way for forward release (in case the ski tip hits an obstacle under the show).
It's been reported that TTS already released this way.
And yes I'm all for changing TLT tech norm to TLT v.2 with wider heel pin spacing (better edge control) and stronger heel pins (there were breakages). Then, imagine having TLT v.2 fitting on false heel...

I wonder if this means Bomber will have a NTN Bomber Bishop sooner than later?
(Rottefella is making the license easy to acquire.)

Non-releasable Bomber Bishop w/o free pivot and ability to install ski crampons? No thanx.
