G3 Targa Heel Throws

Hello folks,

I was out skiing last night at a local hill, and attempted to clip in with a different set of boots than I normally use, a little larger I think, and in doing so, broke the plastic heel throw lever on one of my G3 Targa bindings. It popped off the cable, and I was able to loosen the screw that sandwiches the red and black part to remove it and reinstall it, but part of the red bit is just snapped off and it doesn't look like the wire is as totally retained as on the other one. I skied a few green runs like that and it felt fine, but I don't really want to push my luck. I looked on eBay, and I didn't see much. Does anyone know where I can find a new (used) heel throw?

Those were probably the single most widely sold 75mm binding for a couple of decades, I think most any shop that handles tele gear should have one kicking around their parts box (I'll take a look at mine). G3 might still have some? Also, heel throws on 75's didn't vary that much, and a heel throw from another Rottefella or Black Diamond might work fine.

Two styles of heel throws. Sounds like you need the kind on the left, correct? That one has a larger red plastic lever and has G3 embossed on the back. I assume it is newer than the one on the right which doesn't have the black part for tour mode.
