Fit: Alico double vs ski march

Is the fit the same between these two boots? There's a British seller on fleabay with a buncha different sizes of unused doubles. Kinda pricey at roughly 200usd with shipping, but looks like a nice boot.

Should be. I think the price is pretty similar to past years. I'm also scrounging everywhere for a 3 pin boot, I would get these if not for the weight.

Hey MCA, if you order a little large this is an option.

Basically the idea is to use a modern liner to complete the double boot. Intuition liners are very light.
Just helping you spend your money ;) !

It really might be the shiznet for a guy that will not go plastic!

Bumping this in case anyone out there has input on how Alico Doubles fit. Found a Ski March in 7 wide, and given that my 7 regular are a little tight in the toes I think that will be perfect. Same seller has Doubles in regular width so debating 7 vs sizing up to 7.5 for more wiggle room for toes. For reference my toes are close to but not touching the front.

They say a UK 7 is a US 7.5, not an 8. Since my size is usually US 7.5wide or 8reg in most boots and shoes, I suppose maybe with the doubles go with the larger? Just trying to save on shipping by getting both boots at once. My current Ski Marches will be best with a thinner sock, nothing more than midweight else will be too tight/small.

Trying to figure out which Alico 75mm ski boot I have: 10-15+ years old, heavy leather, 2-buckle lace up. Comparable to Excursion light plastic boots in support level... very nice useable "XCD/BC" ski boot... not really for skiing cross country miles, definitely more downhill oriented.
Not seeing a way to post photo.

It’s tricky posting photos and I haven’t found the perfect way yet. Sometimes formats don’t work. Other times the photos get dropped. Keep trying and you’ll be successful.
